UX-UI, Product
This project involved the design of an interface for order management and picking in a robotic warehouse. The interface is designed to sit on a desktop in a lengthwise orientation, providing the picker with clear instructions on managing orders, preparing goods, and distributing them within the warehouse. By standing at the picking position, the picker can remain in place while the robot brings the shelves to them and shows them exactly where to retrieve the goods, eliminating the need to walk through the warehouse to locate items.
As a B2B product, this interface required careful consideration of the user experience and workflow. My role in the project involved conducting user experience research and developing the interface design. As the only designer at a small start-up during the early stages of the project, I was responsible for ensuring that the design was intuitive, efficient, and easy to use for all users.
The resulting interface provides a seamless and streamlined experience for users, facilitating efficient order management and picking in the robotic warehouse. Overall, I am proud to have played a critical role in the design of this innovative B2B product, which will revolutionize how companies manage their warehouse operations.
